Test Valley School is celebrating the achievements of our pupils at all ability levels. They are congratulated for the results they have achieved in a year which has seen a new and more challenging examination system introduced nationally.
65% of pupils achieved five or more grades equivalent to A*-C including English and Mathematics. Results in English and Mathematics were excellent taking into account the significant changes to the examinations and the introduction of new number grades in these subjects this year. 75% of pupils achieved at least a grade 4 or above (equivalent to A*-C) in English and in Mathematics. Pupils are also to be commended for the results they have achieved in a number of other subjects again this year.
Headteacher, Louisa Hiscock:
‘We are delighted with the results achieved by our pupils, especially with the anticipated volatility of these results. I congratulate and wish them all well as they go forward to the next stage in their lives. I pay credit to the staff for their commitment and determination to support our pupils and also take this opportunity to thank parents for their support.’
