PSHE at Test Valley School focuses on the well-being of our pupils now and in the future. It addresses pupils’ own experience and prepares them for when they leave school. As part of a whole school approach it develops the qualities and attributes pupils need to thrive as individuals, family members and members of society. Aspart of the programme, every effort is made to encourage pupils to develop their personal skills. In addition, The Department of Education have recently reinforced the need “to create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.” There is a wide scope of necessary topics explored.
