Test Valley School took part in the Annual Flower Festival, held at St. Peter’s Church, Stockbridge. This year’s theme was ‘Countries’, so we chose a traditional English country garden as our theme.
Mrs Gleeson, with the help of some Year 10 pupils, made the planting boxes which were then painted by Mrs Hardy and a Year 10 pupil.
Perennial flowers, commonly found in an English garden, were used to fill the planting boxes and information on the medicinal benefits of many flowers was displayed. Mrs Richardson provided the background image of a cottage and flower borders to accompany the display.
