Over fifty Year 4 pupils from our neighbouring primary schools attended the Test Valley School Arts Masterclass Workshop this week.
The pupils had an Arts workshop where they handcrafted clay fish and used a number of creative and decorative techniques to make them all unique. The clay models will be fired, glazed and returned to the pupils as a souvenir from their day at Test Valley School. In Drama, the pupils worked in pairs to perform a mime of people on a rollercoaster.
The event was supported by some of our own very talented Year 9 pupils who gave an impressive mime performance to illustrate how timing, expression and interpretation are all vital elements in producing a realistic and entertaining performance.
