Year 9 Curriculum Information and Parents Consultation Evenings Thursday 12th March 2020 & Thursday 26th March 2020

I would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the Year 9 Curriculum Information Evening on Thursday 12th March 2020, for you to attend with your child. This will commence at 6.30 p.m. with an introduction by Mr Page (Deputy Headteacher). Teachers from all subject areas will also be available to discuss with you the courses included in Test Valley School’s curriculum for Key Stage 4. I have also invited representatives from our local colleges to attend this evening, including Andover College, Sparsholt College and Peter Symonds College. These representatives will be able to help answer any questions you may have regarding the selection of courses for 16 to 19 year olds at their institutions. Year 9 Examinations, February 2020

I would like to remind you that the Year 9 examinations will start in the week commencing 24th February. Home Learning Tasks (HLTs) in all subjects will be suspended. The exam preparation material will appear as HLTs on Moodle and will show up on your child’s homepage. It is vital that your child is enrolled on the correct course in order for HLTs to appear on their Moodle account, should you have concerns your child is not enrolled on the correct courses please contact your child’s tutor.… Read more »

Year 9 Holocaust Centre Visit, 27th March 2020

As part of the Religious Education curriculum, pupils in Year 9 are studying issues of morality and will be moving onto a unit of work on Jewish responses to the Holocaust.
