Key Stage 4 Results August 2019

We congratulate all our pupils who have collected their GCSE results.

This is the first year with all GCSE subjects being assessed by the new 9-1 grades instead of A*-G. The requirements of the courses are recognised as more rigorous and also having more complex content to study. Many pupils have worked very hard and their grades are the culmination of their two years’ work. It also means they have secured what they need to carry on to their chosen post-16 studies or training courses.

A number of pupils have achieved good grades with 68% and 74% achieving grade 4 or higher in English and Mathematics respectively (equivalent to old grade C).

Well done to all our pupils. We are proud of you and wish you every success in the future.
