Art Equipment

For the duration of the Art course pupils are encouraged to take responsibility for the organisation and storage of their work.  All pupils, therefore, are asked to provide an Art Folder an some basic Art Equipment. Every pupil must come to each Art lesson equipped with a minimum of:

 1 x drawing pencil, 1 x rubber, 1 x pencil sharpener, 1 x sketchbook

The school provides and 'Art Pack' available to purchase through our online Scopay Tucasi system which can be purchased for £13.50.  This pack contains:

1 x A3 plastic folder, 1 x ring bound A4 Sketchbook, 1 x set 6 drawing pencils, 1 x rubber,
1 x pencil sharpener, 1 x ruler, 1 x set of 12 watercolour pencils, 1 x small box of watercolour paints, 1 x small selection of watercolour paintbrushes, 1 x zip wallet.

Food Technology Equipment

All Key Stage 3 students and those taking GCSE Food Technology will require an apron for this course, please purchase outside of school, as this is likely to be cheaper.

General Equipment

Pencil case with pens, pencils, maths set, coloured pencils, ruler, rubber, and refillable water bottle, ruck sack to carry books, equipment and clothing.

Maths Equipment

The Maths and Science Departments use Solar Scientific Calculators in lessons and we recommend that children have the same make and model (Casio fx-85GT Plus).  The position of the buttons and the functions available match those used in demonstrations in class and this reduces any confusion.

PE Equipment

Compulsory Years 7 - 9

• Hairband for long fringes or long hair (if required) 
• Football / rugby boots 
• Shin pads

Compulsory Years 10 – 11

Optional Years 7 - 11 

• Navy or black base layer shirts or T-shirts, to wear under their school PE shirt or rugby / football shirt. 
• Plain navy or black sports leggings to wear under their shorts. 
• A towel and a change of underwear for outside lessons. 

*We highly recommend that you order the shirts online and pay the small extra charge to have your child’s surname on the back as this makes it far easier to return any shirts that are left behind.
