Who We Are

Mr D Hall

I have lived in Chilbolton for 14 years with my wife, who is the Administrative Officer at one of our feeder primary schools, and my two teenage daughters. Although I have spent most of my career travelling around Europe working in banking and technology, I now run two small businesses from home and am very focused on my local community – particularly helping our local secondary school on its exciting journey to achieve its vision and deliver outstanding outcomes for our young people. I serve on Chilbolton Parish Council and engage widely with other parish councils, Test Valley Borough Council and Hampshire County Council, chair the local business forum and am a Trustee of Andover Musical Theatre Company -where I still love to perform wherever I can!

Mrs H Doyle

I am a parent governor with one child at the school.  I worked in the international charity sector for twenty years, running programmes in education, health, community work and emergency responses to natural disasters. I then moved into the education sector in the UK, working as a university lecturer, and as a consultant advising universities and charities on fundraising and strategic planning. I was a primary school classroom volunteer for a number of years at schools in Andover and am very pleased to be able to contribute to the Test Valley school community as a governor.

Mrs M Freeman

I recently returned to live in Hampshire with my family after 14 years in Canada. Both children now attend Test Valley School. I am passionate about the importance and value of education, and have worked as a Primary School teacher in Surrey. In Canada, I worked in higher education supporting and advising undergraduate and graduate students. I have also worked in a range of other industries from small to very large and volunteered with a community soccer group in Canada.
